A solid collection of short stories with a spooky theme. Some of the stories are entertaining and well-written.
Marie Richmond (November 16, 2012)I like the cover: clever. Most of the stories -- not so much. I imagine several of the authors to be quite young, for which they get a pass. We all have to start somewhere. I don't care for stories that are unnecessarily mean-spirited, as several of these are. I don't think it's necessary or even desirable for scary or creepy stories to be brutal. Some of these stories have grammatical problems, and many of them are too short to allow us to care about their characters. As writers, you must let the reader decide how to feel based on how your characters react to their situations, you must not tell us how we're supposed to feel about the story. Show us, don't tell us! Well, the price was right, and the cover is nice.
